Founded by Haarika Kalahasti, The Bizz USA has always been a dream of hers, regardless of the COVID-19 situation.  It's given her an opportunity to pursue her passion for writing as well as helping the community!

Meet Our Executive Team

Haarika Kalahasti

Founder and Editor-In-Chief 

Haarika Kalahasti is a high school senior  in Ashburn, Virginia with a passion for innovation, community service, and writing.  She holds a few leadership positions in her high school, including Spanish Honor Society and MEDLIFE, and is always seeking to find innovative ways give back and make the world a better place. When she's not volunteering or writing, you can find her binging shows on Netflix or experimenting with interesting foods in the kitchen. 

Elizabeth Insuasti

Writer

Elizabeth Insuasti is a sophomore from South Florida. She is a very academically focused and driven student passionate about social change, literature, film, screenwriting, law, and community impact. She is heavily involved in her local community and volunteers at numerous non-profit organizations she believes in. In her free time, she loves to binge movies, jam out to music, write, read, and bake. Elizabeth is excited to work with The Bizz USA and hopes to make a positive impact through this initiative.

Janet Reddy

Janet Reddy is a 16 year old from the Fiji islands in the South Pacific. Writing has been a way to express herself as well as shed light on global issues close to her heart. In her free time, Janet enjoys reading, scuba diving and watching Netflix.

Adya Kumar

Adya Kumar is a high school senior at Rock Ridge High School in Ashburn, VA. In her freetime, she enjoys sketching, painting, dancing, and creative writing. When she's not in school or pursuing my hobbies, she works towards gaining knowledge on digital marketing and hope to be in the marketing field one day.

Pallavi Vemuri

​Pallavi Vemuri is a high school senior and self-proclaimed stationery addict. She’s the Vice President of her school’s debate team and absolutely loves to discuss the socio-economic impacts of various policy decisions. She hopes to inspire teenagers and adults alike to set aside complacency to use their voice and change their community. When she isn’t writing or discussing current issues with her friends, you can find her singing (terribly) into her hairbrush or sketching on her math homework!

Malita Ali is a 17 year old high school student from Fiji with a passion for writing, community service,  swimming. Writing has always been away for her to express her feelings and to share information on what is happening around the world. In my free time, Malita likes to binge movies, drawing, and listening to music. 

Isabelle Sitchon

 Isabelle Sitchon is a high school senior living in Houston, Texas. As someone who believes that words inflict so much impact and emotion on people, writing has always been a powerful tool for Isabelle. Through her writing, she hopes to spread positivity among the public during these difficult times, but also bring awareness towards important social issues. In her free time, she enjoys bullet-journaling and singing, as well as spending hours watching anime!
